Pros

Many enjoyable team members to work with. Some company staffers are pretty nice.

Cons

Extremely long working hours. Unrealistic expectations or demands of the employee. Salary not competitive for similar title and work hours. Little growth potential. No technology training or certification earning capability - must do outside of work on your own time and pay for it yourself! Weak benefits. No work life / family balance. Will not sponsor / pay for Green Card - consultant must pay for themselves.

Pros

Too many negatives to find any.

Cons

Where do I start? I had the displeasure of working for Aurionpro and its regrettable that I now have this firm to list on resume as part of my otherwise stellar career in IT. Stated/offered/agreed to salary changed a month after starting, check. Committed to bonus not being paid, check. Commission plan changed mid-year when you’re overachieving, check. Disdain for newcomers seeing improvement areas and recommending changes, check. Poor execution of projects across the board, check. Partnership with Oracle falling apart, check. Double billing/booking of consultants – unethical practices, check. Good sales and leadership departing in droves, check. Man-child CEO and COO running the organization, double check. Recruiting and HR may tout the family atmosphere of this firm. If you want to be a part of the most dysfunctional family you’ve experienced, then that would be accurate. If you’re new to IT and want to use this as a springboard, then…no, I still don’t recommend it. If you’re a seasoned pro either in sales or delivery of IT services, see the above comments and join Aurionpro anyway, your career deserves what results from that decision. I was urged not to join this firm by someone familiar with them and went against that advice. Again, my career suffered as a result.

Pros

None other than some work/life balance.

Cons

This organization is easily comparable to the local corner bagel shop. It’s a family run business and a highly dysfunctional one at that. You have two very young and inexperienced people in executive level roles, the CEO and COO. The two are very much disliked by the sales and delivery leadership teams. Then there’s American leadership they’ve hired or retained through acquisition reporting to this inexperienced and ineffective CEO. The American leadership has zero ability to stand up and do what is right for their employees. Zero leadership experience at the highest level and zero authority/backbone leaders reporting into them is a disastrous combination. There are people with little to no technical, business or leadership experience being hired into important roles because they are a friend or family member of someone in a leadership role. It’s incredible to see an organization function this way. There are people with very little experience brought in to key roles that negatively impact the customer experience, i.e. a Junior Project Coordinator, at best, functioning as PMO Director. Looking from the outside in, it’s bizarre and almost comical how this firm operates but consider that there are investors looking for leadership and financial performance and you quickly realize the seriousness of this. My personal opinion for those considering joining this firm: I’ve worked with for a few firms of this size & scale and a few larger firms and I’d advise steering clear of this Aurionpro. I decided to leave after witnessing the constant suffering of the sales and service delivery teams.
