      Pros

      Good pay within the market, good hours for head office jobs, allowed to pray at work as long as you are Christian

      Cons

      Not a good work environment a lot of backstabbing going on. Health benefits are not very good. You can tell the environment by walking into the main office everyone is out for themselves. They say they are faith based (Catholic) but that is just a cover for being in control of employees . Non-profit status is questionable when you look at new buildings being built and pay of top executives.

      Pros

      Pay on the lower end of average but livable. Very caring staff and coworkers. Buildings are newer or being remodeled.

      Cons

      Leadership changes the "truth" based on their audience. CEO uses religion to keep his flock in line but everyone knows that he can't be trusted. Avera expects all employees to be loyal but offers no loyalty in return.

      Pros

      Christian atmosphere promoted, great cafeteria.

      Cons

      Did not pray as noted in policies and on website. Far from a Christian example expected. Bullying protected. HR little help and as a matter if fact apathetic attitude about serious issues and misbehavior. Unwilling to provide clear policies. CEO states financial hardship and yet significant deadweight and while some work round the clock others sit on Facebook and their phones.
