Pros
Small office, typically Family like environment No recruiter experience required, be sharp, reliable and detail oriented and you’re hired. End of year bonus (the longer you’ve been with the company the bigger it is) There’s so much valuable experience gained with agency staffing
Cons
No real room to grow - other than sales or management Both those roles are not ideal for most people. If your goal is to simply become a high earning recruiter you will have to look elsewhere as this company unfortunately has a low overall earning potential and low commission rate. You will not see 6 figures as other recruiters for other companies do. - Unfair pay management will ask you what you prefer to be paid versus being transparent about the rate, people tend to lowball themselves on accident in this situation. if a newer person asks for more they will simply earn more than you. This is pretty careless and I have seen it cause conflict once the associates begin discussing their salaries (99% of the time they will) Yearly salary increases are virtually nothing and makes no difference to your checks and you REALLY don’t know exactly what your actually salary is. And due to reasons above, high turnover rate for recruiters.
