THEY TALK TO YOU LIKE YOU ARE IGNORANT, AND I HAVE BEEN CALLED BOY A COUPLE OF TIMES. MY WHOLE EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN A RACIST NIGHTMARE. RACISM STILL EXIST IF YOU ARE BLACK AND APPLYING FOR THE RAILROAD IN TEXAS.

BEWARE! The BNSF is hiring only to replace workers who they expect to terminate over their new attendance policy which is rolling out February 1st. Most of these workers have had no attendance issues in the past, but will likely face termination over this new policy which basically allows very minimal time off. Railroad engineers and conductors for the BNSF work on call 24/7/365 with no set schedule or set days off, the only hope to catch a break is to hit federally regulated days off. Fatigue, alcoholism, depression, divorce, and suicide run rampant in this industry and will only get worse. Throw all safety out the window, 2021 was one of the deadliest years in history for this place. The new regime in charge had completely lost their minds and has lost touched with all reality! You will be submitting yourself to a life a furlough, health issues, and corporate slavery! Save yourself the trouble! So many opportunities out there right now, do not waste your time or your lives for this corporate dump. My only regret is not leaving sooner!
