Pros

There are really no pros to working with BIOS at all.

Cons

Some of the clients are dangerous and will break your property and BIOS will tell you there is nothing they can do about it. You will get stuck on shift numerous of times and on call doesn't do their job like they are supposed to and will lie to management saying they didn't get a phone call or it wasn't their turn to have the oncall phone. The driving is too much and you constantly have to take them everywhere and take them places. And you supposedly can't tell the client no to taking them anywhere and if you do and don't take them places BIOS will write you up. PLPM's who are supervisors don't do their job right and will throw off their responsibilities onto DSP workers in their home. PLPM's always take off when they want to and make you pickup their hours. And PLPM'S always take off every weekend and won't let DSP's have off. They don't care if you have a family or not, you have to make yourselves available to them all the time. And PLPM'S and management will tell you that you have to take the clients to your personal DR Appointments and family events. You have no personal space what so ever away from the job. BIOS employees will call and text you at all hours of the night. The pay isn't enough to do a job like this and the pay isn't enough of what is expected of you as a person. PLPM'S will turn their phones off especially in a dire emergency and management will do the same when they go on vacation or aren't in the office.
