Amazing Staff, Corporate Management Culture is like everything bad you've ever heard about Corporate (think Wal-Mart)
Pros
The staff are great. I love my coworkers. They provide amazing medical care DESPITE an absolute lack of support from management. Doctor wages are adequate. Healthcare is technically available to all employees.
Cons
They absolutely refuse to pay staff a living wage. Techs/assistants without a well-paid significant other can't afford a studio apartment here. Benefits are mediocre. Management is a joke. Corporate is so busy buying new hospitals that they can't be bothered with managing the ones they already own. Breaks and sick days are frowned upon, if not impossible. Upon purchase, all experienced local management mysteriously "move on to other opportunities" and are replaced by incompetent and inexperienced warm bodies who are never trained. L&I payments, unemployment claims, etc. will never be signed (at best) or fought (at worst). Staff with chronic illnesses will be discriminated against until they quit, unless they are fired first. Every shift is always understaffed, due to inability to hire people fast enough to replace those quitting. Rules are unevenly enforced. Some people will be penalized for coming to work 5 minutes late, others will be promoted for coming to work 30 minutes late. Darryl Shaw will talk right over you with corporate sound bites instead of listening.
