Pros

The company invests in me, and I aim to provide a solid return for their support in my services

Cons

The physical location is far from my home. Too far of a drive. I love everything about this place, Ralph and his team of leaders are honestly trailblazer.

Great people, horrible post-acquisition policy changes

Pros

- Interesting product/market - Lots of transformative initiatives in progress

Cons

- The new parent company is in the process of gutting Bread's benefits package and culture (no more unlimited PTO, no more paid healthcare + horrible policy options, replaced learning/self-development stipend with tuition-only reimbursement policy, no more reimbursable Friday lunches, the list goes on...) - Due to ongoing changes, coworkers are outspokenly defeatist and disgruntled at work. - Product features that promote synergies with the new parent company have upended our roadmaps and slowed our pace.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. There have been a lot of changes and we are still working through some things. As a result of the acquisition with Alliance Data, we now have access to a larger network of benefits and coverage including 401K, life insurance, Employee Stock Purchasing Plan (ESPP), and more, all focused on the long-term financial wealth and stability of our employees. Change is hard, and we hear you. Please reach out to our People team if we can help you in any way.

Pros

I've been in a professional working environment for 10 years and this is the first employer who really "sees me." The company helps me achieve what's important to me, counts on me to provide my expertise, both listens and makes me feel heard, includes me in company strategy, and cares enough to recognize successes (big and small) along the way. This sound a little weird... but I'm often shocked at how kind and approachable my colleagues are here, across all teams. Time and distance don't seem to matter -- everyone here is ready to hop on an MS Teams call to talk, explain, or show you how to do something. I'm very grateful to find a place where I feel I can be the professional I've been preparing to be for 10 years. I have arrived!!

Cons

My only con to share would be that there are some opportunities in the delivery of IT Hardware and equipment. I needed some extra support in setting everything up and the Help Desk came through... a little extra directions could have been helpful. The Help Desk team has been great about getting me everything I need -- from a conference call "puck", a fancy webcam, dual monitors, etc.
