Work/Life management is COMPLETELY foreign to these guys, unless you put in around 5+ years first, then you MIGHT get something of a regular, stable, schedule. Office politics are pretty toxic and cut-throat.
One of the only jobs I've had that was Safety Critical (lives on the line) and was still expected to work on as little as 5 hours of sleep due to poor schedule management.
Also, the computer programs used are ANCIENT, like a step up from MS Dos, any little thing that SHOULD take 5mins to understand and repeat yourself takes FOREVER because it's all so needlessly complex with endless menus, data glitches, and systems all reliant on key strokes (no mouse control at all, everything is keys and combos, oh and no delete keys you make a mistake you do the whole thing again).
