Pros
A company that is full of middle managers in India and the US. The release management team is unique in the world, in that it is made up of managers only. Excellent growth opportunities for managers who quickly become directors and VPs. Even senior software engineers switch to management due to their preference for middle managers.
Cons
Many technically skilled people have left the company, and others have switched to management, hence the load on those few remaining engineers has increased significantly. These days releases are planned on weekends and the remaining engineers are expected to work without any overtime pay.
