Pros

Money is good. Too good. They Throw lots of money at you so you lower your morals and self respect because the money is just too good to leave or risk standing up for yourself Coworkers are great but also subjected to unfair treatment and bullying and not recognized for their time and talents

Cons

No respect for new employees, especially women. It is a boys club and makes the whole team feel like Highschool with the jocks and bullies ruling the school and lavished perks and special privileges on their favorites who were not held to the same standards or treatment as everyone else. No training. They set you up to fail by having a trainer who doesn’t even know anything about the position and has never worked in customer service or personally taken customer service calls. Some of the managers dont seem to know nor care to know the ins and outs of the job and rely heavily on their veteran reps to train new reps. The binder of paper documents they do give you are contradictory, confusing, outdated and inefficient as it takes you 5-10 minutes just to find what you are looking for. It’s inexcusable for a company with this much growth opportunity and tremendous amount of money that has such high expectations and standards of their employees, to not have a proper training and quality assurance program. Why do they not have an online manual and training tools and access to waterfall and flowcharts. It’s not that difficult! Also, as a female professional I was appalled at how bold this company is about their partiality to men and from day one this place felt like a “Boys Club”. There are women that are respected but they are few and play into the “mean girl” Highschool clique in this immature, unprofessional company culture that is violating so many EEOC laws and are so deceptive and put on a really good front. They specialize in the school of smoke and mirrors and if you don’t step in like the way they want they try bullying you into quitting. I was a good employee but valued myself enough to stand up for myself when I was being unfairly criticized and knew some of the things they were saying were not true. But, I knew immediately that This is not something that Is allowed at Carshield so I tried to keep my head down and work hard but the first chance they got, they fired me for defending myself and disagreeing with them and trying to provide the constructive criticism and concerns I had about them. They fired me. Would not allow me to present my case or clarify what happened between me and one manager. Withheld pay and refused to talk to me about why I was discharged or what the procedures were regarding my health benefits and other end of employment questions I had. They claim to be a top employee satisfied company but that was not my experience at all and I just want others to BE WARNED!!!!
