      Pros

      CRCL really works to stand by and be true to their mission and values. They put a lot of effort into being equitable to families, children, and employees alike.

      Cons

      The company is going through a transition after being in the stone ages for a while. So a lot of old systems are being updated which means a lot of change and adjusting to new systems/ expectations. But so far all changes have been for the better.

      One of the best parts about this job was working with the community alongside the families and children.

      Cons

      The leadership. Carole Robertson Center for Learning has the most toxic and belittling leadership I've ever been part of. I come from a background of years of experience in childcare, including being a teacher, and was constantly met with sexist and racist remarks anytime I tried to suggest anything for my classroom. While trying to advocate for my program and my students, I got in trouble with HR, which eventually led to extreme harassment on the leadership side until I had to quit.
