Pros

Work life balance, as a high performer you're rewarded, at least with stock in my experience.

Cons

Lay offs, they do seem stingy with direct salary increases, though my stock awards feel generous.

Pros

Cisco offers great flexibility on where and how you work, like being soft on "in-office" days, and really any office counts. Although the work is not very fast paced, it's a great place if you're looking for a steady, low-stress job.

Cons

Can be slow for career development depending on the team. Compensation also not as competitive as other companies. If you're looking for fast career growth and tech-focused work, Cisco is often bogged down by old tools and processes that can slow things unnecessarily.
