Pros

Technical work on a hospitality management platform that delivers real benefits for users. Modern tech stack and good development tools. Fully remote setup with flexible hours. Decent pay and benefits (include open PTO, which I'm really happy about).

Cons

High expectations and usually tight deadlines

Pros

Remote work, but it doesn't help much to mitigate how stressful working for Cloudbeds can be.

Cons

Sales targets are too unrealistic. I left the company because management is too demanding and delusional; they think that employees are able to meet their demands all the time, even when what they're asking for is impossible. When we fail to meet their expectations, they insult us for being lazy and incompetent, and instead of reassessing their demands, they double down.

Pros

The role is very dynamic – I help hotels to improve operations and increase bookings, so there’s a lot of variety which keeps me motivated. It’s a global company that gives us flexibility and room for development. I manage my own portfolio, build relationships, and directly impact customer success. Plus, regular site visits and inter-city trips keep things interesting for me.

Cons

It’s difficult to balance relationship management, upselling, troubleshooting, and internal coordination all at once.
