      Pros

      1) Staff from other departments were friendly and supportive. 2) Older adult clients are easy going.

      Cons

      1) Supervision is blurred between AVP (LCSW) and program director (LMSW), which hinders supervision quality. 2) Program director is condescending and micromanages. You have to share an office with her which makes things worse. 3) Disorganized workplace and no formal orientation/training. They claim they need a social worker but actually want an orderly for the program director. Program director will scapegoat you, sometimes in front of clients. 4) Older adult center staff lacks diversity and gossip about each other behind their backs.

      Pros

      Once was a great place to work with many perks and benefits. Those have stripped down to bare bones unfortunately due to budget cuts.

      The rise in micromanagement and overall distrust of employees is increasingly troubling. A recurring lack of compassion from management is evident in the decisions they continue to make

      Pros

      You work with great people who actually care about helping others. The managerial style here was so poor I decided to start my own business and doubled my income It perfectly shows you what you DON'T want in a company/place of employment

      Poorly run management Socially/managerial inept higher ups Shady business practices Petty and Immature managers/supervisors who think that we are in high school/popularity contest Managers who do not manage nor have the ability to properly do so Making up disciplinary rules as they go Cannot control the populace they serve
