Pros

This was a good place to learn the ropes in networking and I made some good friends with co-workers and clients over the years. That is about the extent of it.

Cons

The pay is terribly low and you are expected to work long hours. Senior management views employees and lines on a spreadsheet with little value. The benefits at Compucom are terrible. Office Depot has run a once decent company into the ground. We were also required to track our time down to 5 minute intervals to enter into a useless time tracking system. More time was spent doing this than productive work. The president said in the fall that he wasn't gutting employees, only to lay off a giant chunk of his people the very next week. Dishonest to the core. Oh, and don't forget they are offshoring most of their jobs to Mexico and India.

Pros

*Good platform for freshers. * Good IJP opportunity.

Cons

*No clear salary slabs for all the positions. L2s promted through IJP earns less than L1, few L3(IJP) are earning less than L1. * Companies policies are really bad. *Small scale company, hence worst canteen I have seen in my life. * Very biased environment. Lots of favouritism. *Zero importance to employee, no matter how you perform they will cut variable pay and make you work like animal. *Worst policies like 3 month notice period with no early buy out. *Only 5 leaves can be carry forward, if you have more than that they it will be lapse, they not pay for leaves. Also you can not take sick leaves or unplanned leave otherwise it will be marked as unpaid leaves. *Management sucks like anything, whole compucom management is non-technical with mostly BPO experience. So they will treat you like BPO employees and will do micromanagement.
