Pros

Was able to work remotely from home, which was nice....decent pay....my manager was wonderful.

Cons

People were laid off out of the blue a few times a year, so it had you always waiting for the axe to drop on you, so to speak. At that, if you were laid off, you were lucky to receive a severance of more than a few weeks, max. I was there 6 years, was laid off, with 2 weeks notice and received 2 weeks of severance pay, which is one paycheck. After 6 years, I would have expected at least the graciousness of a month's pay. Also, in the 6 years I was there, I never received a performance review.

Thank you for taking the time to submit your feedback! We understand the value many employees place on the ability to work from home, and are happy to hear you are enjoying that benefit, along with many of the other benefits we offer. Since we serve a variety of clients, the ability to work from home varies, but many of our positions allow for flexibility with fully remote and hybrid work options. We also understand that opportunities for advancement are important, so we are currently enhancing our career development tools. We want employees to be able to clearly express their advancement interests and understand what skills and experience are required. In terms of 401(k), while we currently do not offer a traditional company match, we know how important employer contributions are to our employees. For four consecutive years, CTG has provided lump sum contributions to participating employees’ 401(k) plans. We continue to monitor our ability to provide contributions. Thank you for being a part of our team!

We appreciate the time you took to submit your feedback. We are happy to hear you are pleased with your compensation, as fair and equitable pay is important to us. Many of our employees would agree with you that the ability to work from home lands in the “pros” column at CTG. In our recent Great Place to Work survey, employees cited the ability to work from home as one of the top three special and unique characteristics of CTG. In terms of structure and time off, our organizational structure allows for different employment options that employees may choose depending on their needs. While we allow all employees to take off throughout the year, paid time off is dependent upon the individual’s employment option. Please reach out to your manager with any questions regarding taking time off. Thank you for being a member of our CTG family!

Pros

Work from home and they send you all the equipment.

Cons

-Getting harassed by old people over the phone -Getting harassed by people who don't understand power of attorney -getting harassed by people in general -Constantly having to answer phone calls where the ringer instills this pavlovian ptsd that triggers you anytime you hear the bell outside of work. -Getting laid off without warning.

Pros

-Phenomenal management - allowed me to take (unpaid) sick leave for mental health reasons. -Reasonable time off and work from home days with valid reason at the Administrative Assistant I level; You get one day of working from home per week when/if you move up to an Executive Assistant role or higher. -People tend to get promoted around the one year mark (I've only been working there since nine months so fingers crossed), and movement out of the admin department into other areas in Lenovo (where I'm stationed under CTG) is encouraged.

Cons

-Random spurts of non-stop work with hours of overtime, interspersed between phases of mind-numbing boredom -You choose one of three tiers of payment and benefits upon being given an offer. Top tier is more per year but limited benefits (and they're expensive per month to boot), and lowest tier is Hourly. I personally found this strange and it impeded me from negotiating my salary. Of course, that was partially my naivety.

Pros

Work from home since pandemic

Cons

Wages stagnate for more than 5 years. Benefits were actually reduced. High turn over with no real attempts or rewards at retention.
