Pros

Work with some really amazing and smart people (while they remain), and access to a lot of unique technology from CS, Hotjar and Heap.

Cons

Contentsquare seems to have a knack for buying up great companies and destroying their culture. Leadership chooses shareholders over employees, resulting in layoffs, reduction in total compensation, crushed moral and pushing employees out with "quiet firing" methods. CEO Jonathan seems disingenuous and fake. The only time he is composed is when he reads bad news from a script. CEO is buying up companies that were not only founded on making great products, but caring for their employees. He then crushes that culture and makes it into the typical corporation where it's "work more with less". They have taken away anonymity in some feedback channels, which prevents employees from voicing concerns without retaliation.

Pros

They are very good at writing these reviews. They are using some intern to start keeping the score up and now are paying for reviews.

Cons

-CEO is incredibly arrogant and lies a lot. -The product doesn't at all capture close to what they say it does. -Half of the product presentation is fake--NO AI for example! -Lots of senior managers were fired recently. -It's a French Club and NOT great for Americans. -You really have to put up with tremendous amounts of arrogance -THERE IS NO UPWARD MOBILITY!! -No culture

This comment is completely false and describe practices that do not exist! We never had an intern working on posting fake comments and never paid anyone to post 5 stars reviews on our page. These are false and defamatory statements! We always embrace feedback and make sure to reply to negative ones to show how much we care about offering the best Employee Experience possible to our teams. However, we cannot tolerate attacks based on false allegations. Other points mentioned in this comment are not accurate and/or biased : 1/ concerning arrogance : in our last employee survey 100% of our US team members were satisfied with the relationships with their colleagues and 89% considered that everyone has a chance to raise their voice within the team. Finally, 82% said they are confident in CS's Executive Comittee. 2/ concerning the product: Our high retention rate (95%) and our high Net Promoter Score (NPS = 40) prove how much our customers love and recommend our product. AI is used today in CS product to do time series prediction/anomaly detection (AI alerts feature available for all customers). As of today, a team of 8 data scientists is working on upcoming new features using various AI algorithms (mainly deep learning & expert systems) 3/ concerning the US office being a "french club": we have 57 employees as of today with 10 different nationalities and 67% of americans (vs 17% of french people). 4/ concerning firing: we have open about 100 new positions worldwide in 2019. As any fast growing company some people leave but we have just hired 4 Senior Leaders in the US: a Global CFO, a Chief Legal Officer, 1 SVP and 1 RVP Sales. 5/ concerning the "no culture": the survey also showed that 82% of our US team members feel connected to the company values and 86% declare being proud to work for CS. Also for your information, we have put in place an employee-led culture crew with a dedicated budget to strengthen happiness at work through culture initiatives. Last but not least, we just hired a people manager in the US who will be another asset in building proximity and support with our teams. Best, Célia DÖRR - Chief People Officer @Contentsquare

Pros

There are some decent benefits

Cons

- The Denver office is a nightmare. It is male dominated and EVERY woman who has been or is currently on the SDR team in Denver has been sexually harassed and has either made complaints about it or has left the company due to it - If you bring up harassment to HR they will victim blame you and encourage you to quit (and record a formal complaint) or they will ice you out and drag out the process so long that you’ll end up just wanting to leave. If you don’t leave, they’ll make sure you feel unwelcome and know you are a “problem” for them - There is no clear path to AE, even though they try and sell you on it when you’re interviewing, and the managers have no idea what they are doing either - Sales in the US is failing, to a point where there is a complete freeze on any traveling, hiring, or offsites - Training is crammed into two weeks, and it is incredibly unorganized, unproductive, and will leave you unprepared for the job - Communication between NY to Denver is so bad that SDRs are constantly being pitted against each other, creating an extremely toxic work environment

Hello and thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We take allegations of sexual harassment very seriously and when reported to HR we take the proper procedure for an unbiased view of the situation. We are always looking to improve our career path for the SDR team. In addition, we can share many examples of SDRs moving into the AE team. If you’d like to discuss in more detail don’t hesitate to get in touch. Carly Rabuco - VP HRBP Global Sales and Customer Success
