      Pros

      If salaried, it’s nice to have to guaranteed money even if client doesn’t show because in community mental health, that happens often. The hybrid work schedule

      Cons

      The pay for starters and the benefits. You are low man on the totem pole and get the brunt of everything. No raises. Administration is favored even though as therapists, we are the ones earning money for the company. No safety system to alert if things are going on inside the building.

      Pros

      The hours are flexible, you have a lot of freedom and independence while still having a strong, supportive team to fall back on when needed. Management is supportive as well. The benefits for full time are great: lots of PTO, paid holidays, and the insurance coverage is more than decent.

      Cons

      There is a ton of paperwork and red tape that limits work with clients and can feel arbitrary. You can feel like you are being a secretary at times and management cares more about paperwork than actual growth success of clients.

      Making your own schedule with families.

      Cons

      Very rude and arrogant Boss. Calling screaming and shouting at you. Hovering over everything you do even though you’re independent contractor. Calls with paranoia assumptions about scenarios that is nothing but far from the truth. Constantly harassing you over things that you have already done. Never getting your check on time. Unpaid training time once a month. Horrible experience!
