Pros

People are nice, Lots of work, Salary is decent.

Cons

1- 401k is terrible. 2.5% match is worthless. I came from a company that matched 13% and another that matched 4% plus another 10% in stock. 2 - Vacation time is terrible. Combined 18 days for sick and pto. 3 - Upper management doesn't care that you're not happy. 4 - Bonus structure.... Terrible. 5% max. 5 - Overtime - The job takes more than 40 hours a week. The employee is expected to bill a client for every hour worked. If I work 50 hours and only get paid for 40 hours then Cumming is getting extra money made off my hard work.

Pros

- Senior level management not being available in person or technology makes your work schedule flexible - a good stepping stone to move to another company

Cons

- Low pay : far below market - Sr. Management is incredibly unavailable. It takes numerous pings to get a response to a simple PTO request - They nickel and dime you for EVERYTHING. You have to jump thru hoops to get an expense report approved, transportation costs covered, potluck lunches (for the amount of $ that is being brought in on our specific account, cater is a damn meal once in a while) - PTO policy is laughable - Direction of the account is nonexistent - “Process Improvement” is ongoing and beaten into us but there’s no real tangible results - Sr. Management shows their face maybe 1-2 times per week - Employee input is impossible as there is no one around to voice your opinion to - team events are not paid for (my manager paid out of his own pocket for a team outing to the tune of $250) this goes a LONG way for morale - Onboarding was a nightmare. Had to fill out HR forms in two different places. - There is no sense of culture or value within our team or account

Thank you for your review. We want you to know that we take these reviews very seriously and use the information you provided to learn and grow. We have shared your comments about communication with our group/business unit leaders who feel they have done and will continue to do a good job of communicating to team members throughout the transition. The group/business line leaders have an open door policy, and encourage all team members to voice their concerns to them or directly with Human Resources. And as we move into 2019, we will continue to add feedback tools to enhance the communication as well. With regard to compensation and benefits, Cumming looks to provide its employees a competitive, market based compensation and benefit plan. Moreover, we also look to provide a positive working environment and career path that will allow team members to grow. We encourage our team members to continue to improve themselves and grow within our company, offering training and continued education to all our team members. . In closing we also understand and acknowledge that this type of work may not be for everyone. If it is not the right fit for you, then please let us know. We will be supportive in finding other opportunities internally and/or suggesting other companies. The last thing we want is for anyone to continue to be unhappy in his or her role.
