Pros
There is so much to learn here, both professionally and also, as a sort of social experiment. The culture is difficult and I witnessed more acts of public humiliation and rudeness than I care to remember. Painful. But if you DO manage to tough it out, the opportunity to expand your knowledge base is immense. Life is a learning opportunity, and boy does this place give you an education!
Cons
The culture is like the former CEO... a dinosaur. For a company that touts "no excuses management" and "we don't have politics here", this company has the most toxic management structure full of yes men (and women), that's been solidified in a cement of politics. The gentleman currently acting as temporary "CEO' grew up under TJR and if any of them (or the old guard executive staff) become CEO, the company will remain mediocre at best. So good luck with that, Cypress employees! The place needs modern thinkers, visionaries, and a CEO who's actually a business man (as opposed to an engineer) if they want to climb out of the jurassic age any time soon.
