Pros

There are no pros to working in such an abusive environment and even if there were, they couldn't possibly be enough to offset the cons.

Cons

Company keeps hiring foreign employees who lie about their qualifications and often speak little to no English. Then they expect domestic employees to train those foreign employees and they punish the domestic employees when the foreign employees prove to be incapable of of doing their work. Many of those foreign employees don't even bother trying to do their work - instead they spend all their time taking online classes so they can get jobs elsewhere. In some cases they've hired foreign employees who have never before used a computer for technical positions. They also frequently put non-English speakers in client-facing roles and then expect domestic employees to teach them the language. Leadership is turning a blind eye to this because they don't respect employees and don't want to pay for experience. Raises for domestic non-executive employees have been "paused" since 2021 while executive salaries have doubled in that time and benefits have been slashed across the board. All this despite the fact that they claim revenue, profit, and EBITDA have all significantly increased every year since switching to WFH in 2020. PTO is regularly denied even though they claim to have unlimited PTO (which is just a scam so they don't have to pay out unused PTO when they fire people for no reason). Clients are jumping ship because the quality of work has plummeted since they ramped up the offshore hiring. And because the workload keeps decreasing as a result, they keep firing domestic employees expecting the foreign employees to pick up the slack. Except it's always the remaining domestic employees who actually pick up the slack until they burn out. HR is an absolute nightmare. They ignore requests for disability accommodations, refuse to investigate ethics complaints, and basically do everything in their power to make sure employees get screwed over at every turn. They even fired the guy who was leading our unionization efforts and on several occasions they've fired people for "leaking" information about layoffs to the media. They announced the launch of several DEI programs in late 2020 but those programs never actually existed and the people who were supposed to be leading those programs were all fired before the end of that year. And on top of all that, they force employees to leave positive reviews on sites like this and fire those who don't comply.
