Pros

I would strongly advise against considering EOS IT Solutions as an employer. My experience with the company has been overwhelmingly negative, and I feel compelled to share my insights to assist potential candidates in making informed decisions.

Cons

Low Compensation: EOS IT Solutions pays extremely low wages, which fails to adequately reflect the skills and efforts of its employees. The compensation offered is far below industry standards, making it challenging for employees to feel valued or motivated. Lack of Organization: The company suffers from a significant lack of organization. Critical processes are poorly defined or non-existent, resulting in confusion and inefficiency in day-to-day operations. This lack of structure can be frustrating and hinder productivity. Poor Management: The management at EOS IT Solutions is subpar at best. The leadership team appears to be disconnected from the needs of its employees, leading to a work environment that lacks direction and support. Decisions are often arbitrary, and there is a noticeable absence of effective communication from the top down. Boys Club Culture: The company culture at EOS IT Solutions is reminiscent of a boys' club, creating an exclusive atmosphere that is unwelcoming to those outside the inner circle. This type of environment can foster favoritism and hinder professional growth for those not part of the established clique. Lack of Diversity: EOS IT Solutions has a glaring diversity issue. The workforce is notably homogeneous, lacking representation from different backgrounds and perspectives. This lack of diversity not only limits the richness of ideas but also perpetuates an exclusionary atmosphere. Nepotism: Nepotism is rampant within EOS IT Solutions, reaching an all-time high. Positions and opportunities seem to be unfairly distributed among individuals with personal connections rather than based on merit. This practice creates an inequitable work environment and stifles the potential for talented individuals who are not part of the inner circle. In conclusion, I strongly advise potential employees to carefully consider the issues raised before deciding to work for EOS IT Solutions. The combination of low pay, organizational chaos, poor management, a boys' club culture, lack of diversity, and high levels of nepotism make it a challenging and unrewarding workplace.

Pros

You will meet really interesting people and professional from whom you will learn a lot, and it's great to get IT on your resume.

Cons

-All upper management is white -In interview they tell you it's a woman owned company, while simultaneously contradicting themselves by giving the history of the brothers who actually run and own the company -During interview hiring manager made promises with no intention of keeping them -Preferential treatment, and some misogyny -Incompetent HR who will give you a hard time when they have made an error -Any official documents you receive will be riddled with typos -Some management is unwilling to cooperate to make improvements but also will come back and say the same thing at you -if you call out the problems they will see you as the problem and fire you, as this is an at will position -highly disorganized company at every level -poor planning -absolute lack of communication -director never knows what he wants and will have you do the same work over and over -reasonable deadlines are never given -director never on time for meetings and meetings always go over, indicating a lack of respect for coworkers -high rate of attrition In just one example of the egregious behavior by the director: He was told by multiple people him taking virtual calls, phone calls (personal and work related), and talking very loudly with other managers in our working area was distracting. His solution was to glare & blow up at everyone in the pod one morning while groups of two people were talking, in one case quietly, and another case loudly by letting us know that all the managers spoke in a private leadership only meeting, that no "side talk" was allowed in our work area any longer, and if you want to have conversations you must leave the area and go to a conference room. This makes no sense for a few reasons: 1. half the people in the pod are not in those leadership meetings so we had no knowledge of this conversation 2. per another leadership person, not present at this blow up, this was not covered, only that managers should go to a room if they need to chat with their subordinates 3. it was highly unprofessional and he missed the point that he is the biggest offender and makes the distracting work environment. Director also made false promises of WFH, and then said no one is allowed to work from home (making an exception only for the BI team) Ops managers yes, should be on site, administrative and support teams do 90% of their work from a computer, which can be done anywhere as we all know.

Pros

This really is a hard one to answer. The people you work along side are nice.

Cons

The CRO's leadership style is a significant concern. There seems to be a lack of strategic direction and understanding of effective sales management techniques. Furthermore, their communication style often includes inappropriate language and demeaning comments, creating a negative and unproductive work environment. In addition to these issues, sales reps face numerous obstacles to success. There is no structured onboarding or job training program, leaving new hires to fend for themselves. Management provides little to no clear direction on territory management or account development strategies. In addition, sales reps are not provided with adequate marketing materials. The current sales deck is outdated and riddled with grammatical errors, reflecting poorly on the company's professionalism. This lack of support hinders sales reps' ability to effectively present the company's offerings and generate leads. Adding to these challenges, sales reps often experience instability in their accounts, as they are frequently reassigned without clear justification. This creates uncertainty and makes it difficult to build relationships with clients and achieve long-term success. Furthermore, the company's sales commission structure is opaque and not transparent to sales reps. This lack of transparency makes it impossible for reps to accurately track their earnings and verify that they are being paid correctly. It also appears that a sense of favoritism exists within the sales organization, with preferential treatment given to those of a particular background (Irish) or people who one of the first to work there. This creates a divisive atmosphere and fosters resentment among those who feel excluded. While the lack of oversight might offer some short-term flexibility, it ultimately contributes to a culture of low accountability and hinders professional growth. Unless you just need a paycheck, I would not take this job.
