Pros

80 hour per month billable requirement, mid tier supervisors see clients weekly, assessments available to support meeting hours, responsive directors when support is needed. Caseload size average is about 20 kids with 2 program managers support but may vary. Lots of opportunities within the company for growth

Cons

HR can be slow to respond when dealing with performance management

Pros

Great pay between appointments. It was your hour wage not minimum wage. They always offered a case to sub when families cancelled. HR was very professional.

Cons

Management engage in bullying and illegal stuff. By illegal I mean, they don't want you and WILL NOT allow you to take your 10 minute break (thanks HR for saving the day). If you dare to explain management labor laws and your rights, they will yell at you and will say that you are not cooperating....as in spreading a bad reputation about you. They also want you to take your unpaid 30 minute break at the end of your shift. During training my instructor was not able to communicate subject in a clear way (thank god I had experience!) She dismissed our questions. Trainers will flake. Some managers don't know what they are doing. Parents will notice and comment on it! They will show up to family's home unannounced ...Parents thought it was disrespectful. Not committed to making sure you are following proper methodology or taking date appropriately.

Pros

Good brand identity. Nationally recognized service providers. Services located in most U.S. States. Appearance of helping others as a charitable organization..

Cons

This organization receives governmental funds for every service provided. There is very little, if any, real accountability for public funds solicited and applied to projects with projected/planned deficits. There is no accountability for the copious amounts of public and private funds collected with very little service expansion or new program services offered. What are they doing, year after year, with all the new funds collected?
