Pros

Bob (CEO), truly is a good person, inspiring, and smart. He is a profit-driven company owner (as any good company owner should be, and his heart is in the right place.

Cons

- There's a serious, serious Kool-Aid thing going on in this company. And it's getting worse. - Company's relentless devotion to maintaining positive reviews on Glassdoor to me, feel artificial, transparent, and I feel embarrassed, everytime I'm asked to "post a good review!" of Eastridge. I did my duty, as asked. I'm posting this one on my personal account. - The benefits aren't the best, - Eastridge has turned themselves into a very high turnover-business, effectively commoditizing internal employees. - There are some very stressed out people at this company (the ones that have stayed)

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Feedback is extremely important to us and we value candid responses. We are wildly transparent and acknowledge there are areas for improvement. In order to receive more insight on areas we can improve, we launched an Employee Engagement Survey 6 months ago where 84% of employees stated they LOVE our culture and values! We scored in the 90th percentile for almost every single topic in the survey and that is something that we are extremely proud of. In the last few months we have invested in technology, started a manager training program, added new perks to our benefits, employee activities, and a new recognition program! We said we are investing internally and we are doing it! We continue to promote internally and encourage development even if it means transferring an employee to another department! We have deeply focused our companywide conference calls to ensure that employees are up to date and we are sharing our progress. Our executive team is also meeting regularly to discuss areas we can improve and how to reward and recognize employees. As always, I highly encourage you to discuss specific examples or concerns with upper management or myself to ensure we are aware. We believe our integrity and commitment is demonstrated by our continued actions.

Pros

The company had a name in San Diego for premier service. There are lots of great people in the company.

Cons

A CEO who can't even use a computer, everyone is looking out to see who they can get into trouble next, hiring 225K leaders and pushing them out the door in less than 9 months, and a CEO who rules like it is 1969. Thefe is no work life balance here, and don't expect to get it.

Eastridge generally replies to reviews on Glassdoor by thanking current and former employees for their constructive feedback, which is critical for us to continue to deliver our best. However, in this case, the review not only lacks useful feedback, but it is also made up of falsehoods. Since the review lacked useful feedback, I thought I could help by recapping some of the feedback we have received from other useful and constructive reviews: 1. Recent turnover – We have grown from a traditional staffing company into a top 100 Workforce Solutions Company. In addition to Workforce Recruitment, we also focus on Workforce Management and Workforce Technology. Making this transition has been hard work. Based on the 4.6 score we have on Glassdoor, it seems most people have enjoyed the transition. But, it has not been for everyone and we respect that. 2. Better communication – A recent reviewer asked that management take time to solicit employee ideas more frequently. We now host company-wide conference calls every other week to ensure frequent communication and to create a culture of collaboration. In addition, we host management calls every other week to ensure our managers are not only subject-matter experts, but are also servant leaders. In fact, we sent several managers to a Servant Leadership Institute conference this year to equip our team to serve staff and help them achieve their greatest potential. 3. Better resources – We have invested seven figures in new technology over the last twelve months, which will help increase efficiency and make everyone’s job more rewarding. Finally, I have to disagree with your comments on the CEO. Our CEO has a 98% approval rating. As for him "ruling" like its 1969, we would like to add that in 1969, there was no TESLA. As you know, we are giving away a TESLA this year to the employee who wins the raffle for most collaboration in the company. This could also be why 88% of reviewers would recommend Eastridge Workforce Solutions to a friend. It seems like we were not a good fit for you. Good luck in your next role.

Pros

Hybrid work model, okay pay.

Cons

Poor leadership that does not listen to employees, leadership that lies about pending layoffs, no diversity only 10-15 black employees out of 230, no work life balance, horrible directors that only promote friends, no room for advancement and no career progression.

As you can imagine, this post is difficult and complicated to reply to - this is the last thing we want anyone feeling at work. For you to feel this way after 5-7 years, when we have put enormous effort into our DE&I initiatives, career ladders, openly sharing NPS feedback and what we are doing about it, and creating ways to safely provide feedback is disappointing for me to read about and of course for you to feel. I know I am unable to change your perspective, I wish I could. I also know we are not perfect but we try every day, across every location and through every manager to be a great place for everyone and that commitment remains a focus for our leadership team.
