      It's been a tuff ride, learn on your own kind of environment

      Pros

      Very technical product and you are given a large opportunity to be a cowboy and do things your way.

      Cons

      It seems many things are designed to be difficult. There are many that ride the waves without any real productivity, just opinions and never a decision.

      Engineers have high workload, almost no formal training

      Pros

      Benefits, paid time off and some holidays. Testing and assembly of products on site. Great team of people who currently work in the engineering department.

      Cons

      No training program for new engineers. They are almost immediately assigned to a project and than thrown off the boat to either sink or swim. Engineers are overloaded. Often forced to work overtime to meet unrealistic project milestones and delivery dates.

      High stress, Poor management, No real progress

      Pros

      They do have strong benefits and paid days off.

      Cons

      Project managers and operational teams are overloaded, given unrealistic and sometimes impossible specs by customer that sales agreed to. Different teams fight against each other, including upper level management. No real progress can be made in root cause corrections because of this internal fighting.
