Pros
Work car and gas car provided for you. Can work at your own pace. Get to meet interesting people.
Cons
If anything happens to the car-your fault or not-you’re responsible. You’re also always required to make up missed stops, even from holidays so no actual days off. If s stop is missed because of weather/no show/business closed you’re still on the hook. They will occasionally “ask” you to work weekends to make up slack on other people’s routes. You’re working with distributors and their word is god-so if they don’t like you, you’re out. The benefits are not good at all-and don’t ever expect to get an actual raise. There is no real moving in this company, the position you’re hired in is the one you stay in. Corporate has no idea what they are doing. They implement the same rules and requirements across state lines without knowing the beer industry and the way distribution works in different states. You’re basically set up to fail or quit from the go.
