Nothing great here - Anonymous employee Altorfer Employee Review

Bettendorf Altorfer has a great team atmosphere of very dedicated employees. Benefit package is excellent. Love the early hours so I can spend the afternoon with my family. The training program is very in depth and ongoing throughout the year. Altorfer is willing to invest in their employees. Many 20+ years.

There's not alot of cons. You have to be able to work in weather, cold, heat, rain, etc.

Dispatch can be a pain, but the work is relatively easy. Hourly and there is overtime during busy season and on call. If you can put in your time and do a good job, there are plenty of advancement opportunities.

When planting and harvest season comes around, everything gets hectic. Hours get longer, customers get angrier, coworkers are all on edge. Good overtime if you can handle it.
