Pros

Nothing. Empty promises after buying out our company

Cons

Promised they weren’t changing our company after they bought the company. 3 months later, major layoffs of people(first, the ones that used medical benefits) Seniority or specialties in their field didn’t matter. They cut over 10% so the board gets their huge end of year bonuses. They stripped the largest gaming company. And now the survivors have to do 3x the work. And when questioned, there is no answer.

Pros

A super innovative and entrepreneurial place that is leading both equity and credit markets every day. If you enjoy an intellectually stimulating creative culture working amongst the most brilliant and talented people in the industry, this is the place.

Cons

A very intense environment, with work product expected to be elite. Hours can be long and occasionally weekend work required, depending on role.

Pros

Tremendous culture across the firm - everyone truly wants to do what's best for Apollo with no local agendas Industry leading position in a growing industry and a great business model allows Apollo to enjoy sustainable growth Visionary and inspiring CEO with strong leadership Innovation is prized, at the leading edge of AI adoption Very commercial company where decisions are made on merit rather than politics Very welcoming place - great team environment and people genuinely like working with each other Flat organization where leaders are accessible Community-oriented and employees are encouraged to participate in community service Leaders are aware of the details of their business and lead by example

Cons

Not necessarily a con but this is a high-commitment work environment where people really are expected to give 100% day in and day out. The pace of change in focus and priorities is high so people need to be somewhat flexible and willing to pivot in what they are working on.
