Pros

ArcLight Consulting has an exceptionally collaborative and supportive team environment. The people here are knowledgeable, approachable, and always willing to help each other succeed. Leadership places genuine emphasis on maintaining a healthy work‑life balance, offering flexibility and understanding that makes it easier to manage personal and professional commitments. The culture encourages growth, teamwork, and open communication.

Cons

Nothing major—like any consulting environment, some periods can be fast‑paced, but the team and leadership make it manageable.

Pros

Benefits are great. Some of the team members are incredibly smart and it's easy to learn new tools/modules if you can get time with them. Bonus structure is decent.

Cons

New management is actually worse than previously fired management. There are too many leaders that have been promoted to higher levels that have never worked elsewhere. You will be micromanaged to the point you cannot actually complete your assigned work, however your manager will not know the core functionality of the work you do daily and question why it is not completed quickly. Meetings are constant and timelines unreasonable. I do not see longevity in this organization and there is no clear path forward. It appears to be floundering and trying to find its place within the broader Bridgepoint and Addison group. Consultants are frequently pulled into the sales process but pay does not reflect the level of effort involved in this additional work. Promises of promotions are hung over your head but never come to fruition regardless of the effort put forth in reaching goals set by management and unrecognized work put into the sales process. Everyone is working well above their job title level for "stretch" and most are not paid for the level they are working but are held to the standards of those higher roles.
