Pros
Compared to some other companies I’ve worked for, AskLocala cares about the success and growth of its employees and treats them well. Very accommodating to remote work and flex work. Time off, and health benefits are good, especially for a “smaller” sized company. Taking time off to rest/recharge is actually encouraged.
Company is filled with great people from all over the world, who work hard and are empathetic & supportive of one another.
The products are Innovative/evolving, and they work (clients give great feedback and renew consistently)
For people who want to learn, grow, make an impact – you have a chance to do more than just the daily grind of the job, i.e you can get involved with other projects with other teams, and you can innovate. Not the case with some large companies I’ve worked at. Company is growing too, so many opportunities to grow along with it are ahead.
Cons
- Global company across many time zones makes it difficult to have meetings or book events.
- Things move very fast, so global communication internally is not always the best
