Pros

- Fun culture where everyone helps each other out and works towards a common goal. Employees recognize each other for the great work they do and make everyone feel valued and important. - Awesome work/life balance. Unlimited PTO and remote options provide lots of flexibility. - Lots of opportunities for career growth since the company is growing fast. - They value their employees and treat them like human beings, not assets. - Lots of transparency from the senior leadership. - Free food/snacks. - Product managers understand software development and follow industry best practices for managing technical debt and cultivating a low-stress development environment.

Cons

- Since it's a smaller company, health insurance premiums are a bit pricy and there's no 401k match but salaries are competitive.

Pros

I love Awardco's product and mission. Working here gives you a lot of perks, including: points to spend on our platform, recognition, delta-suite tickets, ERG opportunities, two free meals a week (and the catering is fantastic!), a fun and clean building, and endless snacks.

Cons

With all the perks mentioned, I can tell that they care about their employees - but only to a certain extent. They really push for in-office work, when a lot of what we do can 100% be done from the comfort of our own home. The push for in-office work can feel micromanagey and like they do not trust their employees to be productive outside of the office. It feels a lot like a performance and like "oh, who is in their seat before 9 and after 5 each day?" The push in the department that promotions aren't given to people that are competent, but to people who have won over a good perception from their coworkers. It feels very very performative, like you already know who is going to get the promotion based on who is the most extroverted and butt-kisser in the group.
