Amazing job that contributed to my overall experience as a nursing student. I was able to perform a variety of different hands-on skills as well as learn patient prioritization. They were very flexible with my schedule and I was only required to work a minimum of 8 hours / week.

The training was sometimes explained to the unit shift leads and they were unaware we were coming. This made it difficult some shifts when we were supposed to have a preceptor and there was not one available.

You might work with a great department and dedicated Program director, and their dedication can make the job feel like family.

The manager prefers companionship to comprehension. If you make any attempts to educate yourself and bring your section up to current standards and also bring her along you will be an outcast and punished accordingly wow your peers you are still stuck in analog mode will maintain their loyalty. Managers are not required to attend any sort of leadership training or certificate maintenance and do not provide any type of mentorship for career progression.
