Pros

You can learn a lot about Washington real estate laws in any of the roles.

Cons

Management bullies leasing agents: Very unfortunate, but there is a hug power complex with the people in management they like to be domineering and don't care much about the agents. Portfolio managers don't listen to agents concerns and would rather pay you less than what you deserve because they know they can find someone else who can do the job if you're not willing. Lacks multiculturalism and they don't notice until someone brings it up. More inclined to promote individuals based on looks and/or socializing. They don't really care about how good you are, just that you show up for company parties. Vindictive gossip culture - This company is the epitome of "the Seattle freeze" and I'm originally from here. Not enough multiculturalism, the company is severely lacking any different people and different perspectives.

Pros

Strong company culture that generally promotes from within. Blanton Turner has never failed at doing their best to listen to employee feedback, and seems to be willing to pivot and make change when they're asked. Great benefits, competitive pay, and ethical businesses practices.

Cons

Blanton Turner struggles to effectively roll out change, communicate changes in policy, and support teams through transition. Recent portfolio wide changes have felt chaotic at best, and extremely disruptive at worst. Teams are forced to use AI in daily life without option to opt out, which leads to more time spent cleaning up the mess AI makes than actually doing the job.
