Pros
- No shortage of challenging problems in the industry.
Cons
- Management is not willing to tackle those problems. Or will pretend to, nothing will actually happen, and they'll blame their employees for their own failure. - Culture is a joke; they claim inclusivity, yet management is clearly a white boy's club. - If you work in IT, it's likely your boss may think that they can treat you however they want, if they pay you enough. And if it's not enough, then it's your fault you took the job. - Managers will look for scapegoats to take the fall for their mistakes, rather than take responsibility themselves. - No attempt will be made to understand you or your skill set. You are a cog in a machine, and you will do what you are told. - Your opinion will not be heard. Your managers already know what they want, despite not understanding the technology, and you need to go make it happen.
