Pros

Your co workers for the most part are awesome! However everyone trains you a different way. But for the most part all good people. But assign certain people as trainers. Not people that don’t speak English and are NEVER on the radio because they don’t speak English.

Cons

Higher management. Micro management. They want you out, you’re out. HOURS on your feet, 20 min break, and they’re watching. They’re listening too. No one knows when they’ll get fired, for getting g water and not paying after a shift. Rules change on the fly but as someone new, how do you know?! It truly is a toxic work environment. I will miss many of my co workers but I do not miss being monitored by the white shirts that are watching. In fact one set me up against my team straight on, lied to my face. Shame on her. And, she undermined my direct manager. Not ok. So many good people work there, and none get any kind of recognition. Truth be told, there are SOOOO many unhappy, disgruntled employees. Sad. In maintenance no one wants to be team lead. My manager is great. A GM’s are awful! I feel like people are set up to fail, not to succeed.

Pros

Pay. For my department, a regular schedule. OT opportunities. Double pay holidays.

Cons

Management has serious favoritism. They pressure you to pick up the slack of the ones who are lazy or work like sloths. A position hurting you? They don’t care. It’s SO easy to get fired. 3 strikes you’re out. Don’t forget to clock in or out including lunch, strike. Don’t be one min late. Strike. Don’t have car issues. Strike. Don’t get sick. Strike. Going to call in? Make sure it’s more than 1 hour before your shift If not, strike. Don’t say something wrong, instant fire. So many great people and hard workers get fired because they missed clocking in/out. People get distracted or forget and jump right into work. No big deal right? Wrong with this company. How dare you forget?! You get 3 weeks vacation sure, but ever get sick? PTO gets used for that. Someone says something that was interpreted wrong fired. Definitely can’t count on keeping a job here. Better have a plan B ready because any day could be your day. Training? Ha! More liked throw you into it and figure it out.
