Pros

- The coworkers I’ve had in my immediate team were some of the best and brightest. - Health Insurance is only decent benefit

Cons

- Salary is under market - Hour requirements are 1800 charge, 500 non charge, charge is stressed to be “efficient time” so you know the 500 non charge isn’t PTO. - Unlimited PTO (see above), schedule PTO for a couple days two months in advance and if you’re under .5% on charge, you need to send a plan to make it up. - Upper management (C suite) is only there for external optics and photo ops. Not for current staff or leading good initiatives internally.

Good place to gain hands-on experience and build your resume.

Cons

I entered this role excited to learn and contribute, but left feeling that professionalism, mentorship, and fairness were lacking. High performers were not always recognized, concerns were not always handled with discretion, and there appeared to be a significant gap between the firm's stated values and day-to-day practices. Because the organization is built through mergers and acquisitions, leadership positions do not always appear to be filled based on demonstrated leadership ability, mentorship skills, or operational excellence.
