      Pros

      The best reason to work for CMDI is that they'll hire anyone off the street to staff their mail room. The folks who actually do the work in the mail room are good, hardworking people.

      Cons

      Once you're working at CMDI they own you, and aren't afraid to let you know it. Be prepared to work long hours with management breathing down your neck.

      Pros

      Competitive pay, small company so direct access to management and ownership. Ability to do campaign work without the crazy campaign lifestyle. Very stable respected company in the field. Opportunities to grow in the company or transfer to other political organizations. Great way to get in on the ground floor of a big campaign or new administration.

      Cons

      The office is in Tysons Corner and getting to DC can be tough with traffic. The hours can be long during busy season.
