Pros

You see your work change lives; students land certifications and jobs, which makes the long days feel worth it. Lots of ownership and room to build: campaigns, systems, and new ideas can move from concept to live quickly. Leadership is open to experiments if you bring data and a plan. Cross-functional exposure—marketing, ops, admissions, partnerships—which accelerates learning. Flexible, people-first culture; teammates genuinely care and pitch in when it matters. Annual Christmas party which builds company culture and camaraderie.

Cons

Small team means meaningful ownership and variety.

Pros

I’ve never felt supported like I do working for CALRegional. My regional manager is always available, I have multiple resources to lean on when I have question, I never feel alone. There’s flexibility on teaching style which makes the job feel like you’re contributing. They give you feedback back each class so you can grow and thrive. And they let you know how your students are doing so you can see the impact you have on each person.

Cons

Some classes get cancelled or pushed back due to low enrollment of students which can be challenging if you are using this as your sole income.

Pros

They do their best to support a work-life balance and often go the extra mile to make you feel supported in familial obligations. I am well compensated for area standards and work a half-day Friday for a total of 35 hours a week. Growth is huge in this company, and I feel they prefer to promote from within. Strong culture based on teamwork and an adaptable rewards system for hitting goals, and practicing your strong work ethic. I feel valued as an employee, and it makes me want to perform at a higher level and strive for more and more. They also provide meals on days in the office, and regularly buy snacks, asking opinions on what to purchase.

Cons

Not thrilled with the health insurance options. Wish there were a more established retirement tool to utilize. Communication is staggered; we don't always know about openings in our own company or shifts in management until the last moment.
