Pros

There really is nothing good to say about this company. They will smile and shake your hand while they are trying to figure out ways to get rid of you.

Cons

What is the best way to take over hospice companies without having to buy them out? Denver Hospice figured it out. Denver Hospice created CareSynergy out of thin air. This company then convinced three other hospices to 'affiliate' with CareSynergy. What those hospice probably didn't know is once CareSynergy took over their IT, Finance, and HR departments they pretty much owned the company. Not to mention that Denver Hospice currently has a Caresynergy employee as their president...The hospice's are supposed to be able to operate independently which CareSynergy claims they allow. This is not true as their board of directors and their president can trump anything the local hospice wants to do. This is something I've witness time and time again. If anyone hears of a job at Pikes Peak Hospice, Denver Hospice, Pathways Hospice, or Halycon Hospice, RUN! You will be under CareSynergy aka Denver Hospice.

Pros

Company does have a good mission

Cons

Culture is toxic. Too many leadership changes. No stability. A lot of people fired. Benefits are hugely expensive. I am looking for another job to leave as soon as I can and so are a lot of others.

Care Synergy Response

Thank you for sharing this feedback. It is taken seriously, especially concerns related to culture, stability, and leadership. Care Synergy is not experiencing broad leadership turnover. We are currently preparing for the retirement of a long-tenured leader and thoughtfully hiring their successor to ensure continuity and stability. Regarding the perception that “a lot of people are being fired,” this is not reflected in enterprise workforce data. While performance and conduct issues are addressed when necessary, there has simply not been a pattern of terminations at Care Synergy. That said, perception matters, and it is important to better understand this experience. HR welcomes the opportunity to connect confidentially to learn more. Please reach out at cshr@caresynergynetwork.org if you are open to a conversation.
