      Great potential — pathetic implementation - Director Care Synergy Employee Review

      Pros

      Seems well positioned to capture the Colorado market. Affiliates composed of quality clinical people who are all passionate about the hospice mission.

      Cons

      CEO says the right things in public but is then absent for any of the execution. Surrounds himself with fairly mediocre VPs (e.g. HR, IT and Bus Dev) who add virtually no value to the affiliate operations yet all receive exorbitant salaries and annual bonus payments. They’re squeezing the life out of the four affiliates in an apparent effort to create one giant enterprise controlled from Denver. CEO appears to enjoy creating chaos and is then puzzled when there’s so little real progress on poorly defined goals. His VPs are then not held accountable for results.

Leadership is experienced, collaborative, and focused on aligning strategy with compassionate care delivery across the enterprise. There is a clear commitment to doing the right thing for patients, families, and team members. The organization offers robust benefits, opportunities for growth, and a sense of purpose that makes the work meaningful every day.

      Company does have a good mission

      Cons

      Culture is toxic. Too many leadership changes. No stability. A lot of people fired. Benefits are hugely expensive. I am looking for another job to leave as soon as I can and so are a lot of others.

      Thank you for sharing this feedback. It is taken seriously, especially concerns related to culture, stability, and leadership. Care Synergy is not experiencing broad leadership turnover. We are currently preparing for the retirement of a long-tenured leader and thoughtfully hiring their successor to ensure continuity and stability. Regarding the perception that “a lot of people are being fired,” this is not reflected in enterprise workforce data. While performance and conduct issues are addressed when necessary, there has simply not been a pattern of terminations at Care Synergy. That said, perception matters, and it is important to better understand this experience. HR welcomes the opportunity to connect confidentially to learn more.
