Pros

Great Product Market Fit Large TAM Growing Innovation Remote work Outside of Sales Development org a great opportunity

Cons

Toxic and Narcissistic Sales Development Leadership The core issue stems from the Director level in the Sales Development department, which affects the entire structure, including middle management. Extreme favoritism is prevalent, with a primary focus on personal success and numbers, rather than team growth or well-being. Leadership is willing to manipulate situations, even to the point of setting employees up for termination without their control or knowledge. If you’re considering an interview or currently working within this Sales Development team, proceed with caution, or better yet, avoid joining this department.

Pros

Great benefits and compensation. The work-from-home flexibility they advertise is genuinely supported in practice. Strong communication across teams and great colleagues to work with. The company also promotes a healthy work-life balance, with employees being very respectful of different time zones and schedules.

Cons

There could be more consistency around processes, controls, and standardization across teams. At times, policies and procedures could be communicated and enforced more clearly to help improve alignment and accountability organization-wide. I also noticed that while cross-functional collaboration is encouraged and appreciated, there are occasions where decision-making can become blurred across departments. In some cases, it may be more effective for final decisions to remain with the manager or leadership team responsible for that area. There are situations where clearer “black and white” guidelines and expectations would help create more consistency and efficiency.

Thanks so much for taking the time to write this. The feedback on processes and decision making clarity is something we hear and we're actively working through. Growing fast means some of that infrastructure takes time to catch up. We appreciate you naming it and we're glad the rest of the experience has been a good one. Glad you're here on the ride with us.
