Pros

+Traditional hours and federal holiday schedule. +Depending on your site the workload can be pretty minimal. +Easy Job. +Hopefully you can network and get lucky in the USAjobs lottery to actually get hired on the federal side.

Cons

-There seems to be zero advancement opportunities for credentialing specialists. -The managers pass on their responsibilities to the credentialing specialists and like to name people as "site lead" that comes with no bonus, no salary increase, and no added authority but they want you to pester your peers about getting their timesheets in on time. -You are a contractor and you feel like one the whole time. If you work with FT federal employees you definitely feel like a subordinate and are probably making half the salary of everyone else in the office.

Good opportunities for growth and expanded responsibility. Employees who are motivated and adaptable can gain valuable experience across a variety of programs and operational areas. Advancement opportunities are available for strong performers.

Cons

Work-life balance can become challenging during busy proposal and capture periods. Tight deadlines and changing priorities may require extended hours and increased availability. Leadership does recognize employee contributions, but the pace during surge periods can be difficult to sustain long term.

Pros

One of the biggest positives about Citizant is the leadership. They care about their employees, listen to feedback, and make an effort to support their teams. I have always felt that employee input is valued and that people are treated with respect.

Cons

Because Citizant supports government contracts, there can be uncertainty around contract timelines, funding, recompetes, and long-term project direction. This is not unique to Citizant, but it can create some unknowns for employees.
