      Pros

      Couchbase is absolutely the Category leader in NoSQL databases. While MongoDB has more customers and a better name, their tech can't hold a candle in speed, reliability or scale.

      Cons

      They have recently been purchased by PE and it's hard to tell where the chips will land, once all the changes have been made

      Great energy! Everyone is super friendly to new hires and makes an effort to introduce them to the business.

      Pros

      I started recently with the company. Overall, onboarding was smooth. I received lots of great communication and documentation. My laptop arrived early so I was able to be ready for my remote onboarding session. Everyone I spoke with was nice, professional, and genuinely seemed to like their jobs and the people with whom they work.

      Cons

      Remote onboarding is always tough for making people connections, but it was not bad. I did have some tech issues but they were addressed and resolved quickly.
