Pros

Free meal every day. Insurance was decent though expensive Some room for advancement...maybe

Cons

Staffing was always low and nobody ever wanted to show up to work. My particular boss never wanted to pay me overtime even though I stayed overtime on occasions. Only family members of the owner and Friends get to have a chance at High End jobs. They work you sometimes 10 days in a row without overtime because they connect your to work weeks together but don't go over 40 hours every week. The bosses of each building are enticed to save money at the expense of the residents and employees, because they get a bonus at the end of the year based on how well they stay within or below budget. Communication between employees and management is virtually non-existent and higher management seems clueless at times. Pay is awful.

Pros

There is absolutely NOTHING positive about this dump

Cons

I don't even know where to begin.... 1. Absolutely NO form of security. No cameras anywhere inside or out. So if something is stolen from your car, purse, etc, nobody can do anything about it because there's no proof. Even if you know who did it, won't matter unless you have physical proof. The excuse given for no cameras? It's for resident privacy. Hospitals have cameras. Other nursing homes have cameras. Hell McDonalds has cameras. 2. All staff is NEVER held accountable for anything. Most of your supervisors are too busy being friends with staff to do any sort of discipline. 3. Corporate doesn't care about the building itself. They are more concerned about looks compared to being actually functional 4. Benefits are absolute crap! You can tell Corporate did no form of negotiations to actually find staff decent insurance for an actual affordable price. The health insurance barely covers anything. Vision insurance is a company that hardly anyone uses anywhere so good luck finding someone that will take it. Dental is the only thing that is actually worth getting. You don't get PTO until after you've been there for a year. Only job I've ever had that makes you wait that long. 5. The building itself is constantly falling apart. And corporate does nothing to put money back into the building for it to be fixed. They expect maintenance to basically put a bandaid over everything constantly.
