Pros
Good training program, fun job, fun work environment, lots of perks and treats. The free flights were great. If this company was smart, they would offer part time work in their call centers - no benefits other than the flight benefits. This would save them money and help keep wait times down. I've never understood why they are so against this idea.
Cons
Advancement opportunities often require a major relocation. Pay is shockingly low considering this group drives the income for the entire corporation (across numerous locations). Everyone I worked with either had a breadwinner spouse or multiple jobs or roommates. It is unacceptable for an organization of this size to not pay people a living wage. When I heard that the managers of our dept topped out at around $60k, I found another job and nearly doubled my income. Plan to work most holidays and expect to be working nights and weekends for at least the first few years.
