Pros

Deltek has been a great culture of hard working but respectful collaboration among teams, but that's changed with new CEO, Work life balance is a positive as is remote working environment enabling more flexibility in managing work and home life.

Cons

With the departure of Mike Corkery our CEO who led the org to $1B revenue, the parent company Roper has brought in a CEO who is a dud. The culture has become toxic with everyone looking over there shoulder as trust of leadership has eroded. RIF's have become the norm each January. This has led to stalled planning and anxiety across the org due to uncertainty and to not knowing who will be the team members, final budget allocation, sales focus areas, or targets. Everything waits until the second Monday in January to see if you have a job and then get started in earnest on planning and execution for the year.

Pros

Good culture and supportive coworkers One thing that stands out is that employees repeatedly talk about the people being collaborative and easy to work with. For CSM teams especially, there are comments about low internal drama and strong teamwork.

Cons

Morale dips after layoffs: Common issue in enterprise SaaS. Remaining employees sometimes inherit extra accounts or responsibilities after reductions. Internal communication can get corporate/vague. Employees sometimes mention leadership messaging during reorganizations feels polished but not fully transparent. Career growth uncertainty during restructures: When leadership changes or teams merge, promotions and advancement
