Pros
-Friendly coworkers -Laid back, flat management structure has its obvious benefits -Not too much red tape -Good place to get experience out of school -Interesting work
Cons
-Absolutely no management whatsoever, projects are poorly planned, under budgeted, and under staffed. -No room for advancement, annual reviews / raises don't exist. -The flat structure leaves many new engineers in the dark -Most people are spread thin across multiple projects, work environment favors heavy travel and OT -High employee turnover, expect the average college graduate to wok here for 1-1.5 years. -No flex time or comp time, job benefits are weak. -6 Year vesting period for 401K -Company doesn't pay for your parking, which amounts to $16.50 per month. You'd think for an office of 100 people, the company could shell out $20K per year and pay for its employee park...nope. -The office is located in a bad area of Springfield, cars get broken into, damaged, etc.
