Pros
Great >Company<. Competitive Pay. Great Work Schedule. Good benefits. Plenty of time off.
Cons
Management, hands down, is the absolute worst at DOT Foods. From blatantly ignoring safety issues, even ones that have caused severe injuries or could lead to fatalities, extreme favoritism, sexual harassment, verbal abuse, and overall treating grown individuals like children. There are documented and photographed cases of manager approved vacation/time off going "missing" or "having no knowledge of" which leads to disciplinary steps, regardless if such evidence is brought forward. I have witnessed situations that could have been fatal be shrugged off, an employee be openly joked of when a machine malfunctioned and lead to them having a panic attack (order picker falling) and then be forced to get back on it, and management walk around a busy warehouse floor on their cellphones while enforcing the "No Cellphones" policy to their subordinates. Most of management are individuals with no prior work experience who were brought in simply due to having a degree, so straight out of school. They are put in charge of dozens of people at a time and will throw their employees under the bus in an instant to keep their own slate clean. They also frequently break OSHA related laws by simply signing off new management members to operate any machine in the facility and simply stick them on an unfamiliar machine and let them take off on it. For a facility that had a turnover rate of 60%+ for 2017 and currently 40% for 2018, it's easy to see that the management of this facility is hindering the growth of the company as they have lost the ability to be accountable and lost sight of the companies values that the Tracy family has built the company around.
