Pros
The people i worked with.
Cons
Well well... If you are extremely desperate and really really really need a job, working here still may not be worth it. This company should be called Nepotism Analytical, Inc. because your treated like dirt unless you are part of the family, or a friend of the family (not even then- they screw them over too). Anything you do will not be good enough. Even when you are working, people will still run to you managers and tell them your not. Your managers know how hard you work (if they even notice you), but still will not defend you. From the beginning... My first day, it was like no one knew i was coming. I met with the managers for like 10 minutes and then they were gone. My co-workers took me under their wing and started training me; did the managers stop by to check on my progress....NO! I was just another number. As time went on, I became proficient and quick at multiple tests. I worked really hard, along with my other coworkers; you think someone noticed?...NOPE. Our manager would come storming through the lab, straight face, say nothing, and leave - may i add, he did smell good. But he was never around to notice anything. When we were crazy busy, he did not come check on us - offer help? nahh, he just sat in his offer looking pretty. We could not find him most of the time when we needed help or there was a problem. He took forever to reply back to emails, sometimes never even replying. Idk what type of manager he was, no one could ever find him and he had no clue what was happening in his department. He could not even remember our names. My coworkers and I all worked extremely hard, stayed late, came in on weekends. We never got as much as a thank you, good job, raise <--yeah right. There was one co-worker who did get noticed (yess she was a very hard worker), she got 2 promotions, back to back, which came with raises. The rest of us nothing. She deserved her raises but the rest of us deserved raises also! She got praised for work others did. Maybe if our manager actually came around he would have seen our hard work. But even if he did, the managers were always crying about how the company did not make enough money to give us a raise. No, the company brings in millions, they just want to scam their employees to put more money in their pockets. The more money departments saved, the bigger their bonus. Which would explain why our managers never fought/ wanted to get us a raise. Us bottom of the barrel workers are extremely underpaid. We were overworked with no pay increase. The company focuses on saving as much money as possible regardless of the side effects- understaffed departments, work overload, people quitting, disgustingly low pay. They are so desperate to cheat their workers and save money that they try to cross train them in every department, so that they do not have to hire more people. They tried to do this to me and i refused. When you ask them if you would get a pay increase, they look at you like your crazy. They then start crying about how the company does not bring in enough money. So they expect you to do other people's jobs, your job, and everything else, at the same pay rate (which is already way lower than what it should be). Its disgusting, the unethical things the company does, and the managers tell you to do; to save time and money. Clients pay a lot of money to get accurate and correct test results. They don't care about cheating the clients either. The managers do not care about you, they would throw you under the bus, in a second, to protect their selves and make their self look better. People will disrespect and talk to you like your uneducated. Managers run around talking about you and talk to employees about things they shouldn't be. And the owner...he definitely does not care about his workers, because he allows all these things to happen to his workers (why would he care when he is bringing in millions); all he is worried about is materialistic things. <-- More power to him... he just needs to learn not to forget about his workers, the people who get the work done, and keep his labs running [cant get clients samples done without workers] The lab is filthy dirty, ants on the floor, fridges are dirty and smelly, and the bathrooms...
