Pros
- Multi-national teams, therefore frequent English usage. - Kitchen is great, coffee machine, beverages, fruits - High-quality colleagues(I think it's changing) - Relaxed environment, no one checks what you do - Play station room - Working hours are flexible
Cons
- Huge salary differences between people doing the same job. Some people might earn half of your salary, some people earn more than double. - The technology stack is shallow in the backend. CMS platforms are used even when it's not needed(no custom backend) because big clients ask for them. - You won't work projects in Turkey, projects are in foreign offices and TR is a delivery center. So what you do and how management acts completely depends on your relationship with the foreign office. TR management doesn't have any effect on your assignment to the projects (which is your whole work). - If you don't have any project(Maybe the foreign office didn't like you much), it's expected for you to wait for months without any work. You can work on whatever you want in this period. - You can't trust management, lots of promises are made and not kept. Even when there is a positive improvement, it might not be long term.(euro-based salary, excuse leave rights for some days, shuttle) - Office location is painful to reach with public transportation, you need to walk 1.5km after metro, no other choice. - Outside of the office is not for you to relax, people just stand outside. - The lighting of the office is not nice. You see the sun directly sometimes or you can't see your screen, or time to time it's too dark or too bright. It's painful. - Air conditioning works loudly. - After management changes, talented people are leaving the company.
